Goose down puffer jacket from Helmut Lang, Autumn/Winter 1997-1998. This jacket is a great example of how Lang incorporated functional everyday garments into his work, whilst upholding the theme of any particular season. In terms of functionality, you have a timeless quilted jacket, filled with down feathers, featuring a dual zip and snap button closure, two frontal pockets, and adjusters for both the waist and hood. In addition to this, there are subtle militaristic design elements that are evident throughout, such as the beautiful military green color and heavy-duty zippers. It fits like a tight medium. Although there are a few dirt marks and the care label has been cut off, it is still in amazing condition.
