Cotton suspenders pants from ISSEY MIYAKE MEN, Spring/Summer 1998, by Naoki Takizawa. These rare pants are a prime example of Takizawa's design exploration of the late '90s. The collection was his attempt at a fusion with the Japanese techno-culture of the time, with these pants clearly inspired by rave pants with their built-in suspenders and wide legs. The contrast stitching and intricacies in the fabric result in something robust and elegant. Although the suspenders are slightly damaged and there are a few stains (that are hard to notice because of the composition of the fabric), they are in good condition.
