Aviator goggles sunglasses from Yohji Yamamoto Eyewear by MURAI, Autumn/Winter 1996-97. They were part of Yohji Yamamoto's 5th sunglasses collection with MURAI and were made famous by American singer Aaliyah. She wore the iconic frames throughout the "One in a Million" era, for things such as promotional videos and photoshoots, but most notably in the video for "If Your Girl Only Knew". The sunglasses are recognizable by their resemblance to vintage aviator goggles, also known as motorcycle goggles. Please take note that this particular model has a black metallic structure and dark purple, nearly black lenses, while Aaliyah had a silver metallic structure and blue lenses. Additionally, there is a scratch on the left lens.
