MR.Y.T. Special Edition sunglasses from Yohji Yamamoto, Autumn/Winter 1995-1996, in collaboration with Murai. SUNGLASSES ONLY; CASE AND TAG NOT INCLUDED. Yukihiro Takahashi has been a regular wearer of Yohji Yamamoto glasses since their launch in 1994 for the Autumn/Winter 1994-1995 collection. A year later, Yohji Yamamoto released the sunglasses seen here that look as if they were made from steel plates and wires into curvaceous and graceful objects using elaborate techniques and precise calculations. They feature a structured design that fuses the balance between flat surfaces and the roundness of tubes. Three color combinations of frames and UV-protective lenses were available: off-gold & green-gray, off-gray & green-tinted, and off-silver & purple-tinted. Now available is this last variation.
This particular pair is wide at the back and may be better suited for someone with a larger head. Fortunately, it may be possible to adjust the frame width toward the back. However, I cannot guarantee it to you. All sales are final and the responsibility is yours if you want to adjust the width.
Precautions for use:
- Use the appropriate fit for your face.
- Consult a doctor or optician for advice on the appropriate light transmittance for your eyes.
- Do not store in high temperatures or with metal objects that may scratch them.
