Oversized double-breasted silk-linen blazer from Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME, Spring/Summer 1989. Inspired by the well-dressed peasants from August Sander's photo book, there is "a freshness, a festivity, a 'Luncheon on the Grass' atmosphere in this summer wardrobe." The blazer, made of hand-spun silk and exquisitely twilled, was sold for ¥200,000 at the time. It is quite oversized and has a certain weight to it, but it still feels light. Wim Wenders owns a similar one that he has worn most notably in 2006. It is in good condition.
