Poster of Yohji Yamamoto by Saeko Tsuemura from Y-3, Spring/Summer 2004. This season saw the Y-3 debut of the one and only artist behind the legendary graphics of Yohji Yamamoto's Autumn/Winter 1991-92 and Spring/Summer 2002 menswear collections: Saeko Tsuemura. For the occasion, she made a series of retro portraits in her classic style of airbrushing on pictures of gold Y-3 medalists wearing adidas. These portraits appeared on several award ceremony-inspired pieces, with Yohji Yamamoto's portrait also turned into a poster. Around the time of the release of the collection, an exhibition featuring the illustrations and a signing session with Tsuemura was held at Colette. The poster for sale is old and shows signs of use.
