Rayon and wool workwear jacket, from Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Spring/Summer 1996. Classic jacket characterized by the simplicity of its design and quality of the fabric. Very comfortable, light and breathable. It is in great condition.
Traditional British suits formed the core of this collection. But as you can see from its title, "DISCONNECTED GENTLEMAN," the Homme Plus ingenuity, such as changes in jacket length and large cutaway front hem, is effective: even reflectors and color tapes found on construction sites were used. Part of the models who participated in this show were popular Bespoke designers from London such as Charlie Allen, his father and three brothers who are all tailors, along with Mark Powell and Timothy Everest.
