Technical down jacket from Issey Miyake Men, Autumn/Winter 2000. The nylon is high density and high quality, making it one of the most amazing down jackets that I've seen. Its set of pockets is quite useful and looks beautiful. It is extremely warm and practical. The condition is good: there are some stains and signs of use, as seen on the pictures.

This down jacket reifies the theme of the collection, "TRAVEL". Clothes were interpreted as tools and equipment by Naoki Takizawa, and a product design approach was taken to create functional clothing. From what I could gather, the down jackets from this season have 20% more down than the ordinary outdoor variant of the time. What's more, some jackets had custom made clear plastic zippers from the famous Swiss company RIRI. With time, this model of down jackets became not only an icon of the season, but also of Naoki Takizawa's work as designer of Issey Miyake Men.
